Research fellow since 2003. Georg Brun studied philosophy, linguistics and mathematics at the University of Zurich. PhD in philosophy in 2000. Between 1987 and 2006, Georg Brun was also working as a software engineer. At the University of Zurich, he was teaching logic and philosophy from 1992 to 2006; from 1995 to 2001 he was lecturer and from 2004 to 2006 research fellow at the chair for theoretical philosophy. Main interests in research and teaching: logic, semantics, semiotics, environmental philosophy, epistemology, aesthetics.

- Epistemology
- Methods for analysing arguments and texts
- Ethical issues of climate change and land use related climate policies
