Christoph Baumberger has been senior assistant since 2015; he was research fellow from 2009 to 2014. He studied philosophy, linguistics and German literature at the University of Zurich and the Ludwig-Maximilian University Munich. He got a PhD in philosophy in 2009. At the University of Zurich, Christoph Baumberger was research assistant at the chair of theoretical philosophy from 2001 to 2004, and at the chair of history of philosophy from 2004 to 2006; from 2006 to 2008 he was a research fellow; since 2005 he has been teaching ethics at the Master of Advanced Studies in Applied Ethics. From 2003 to 2005 he was lecturer at the Zurich University of the Arts. He is a lecturer of the MAS in cultural management at the University of Basle. Main interests in research and teaching: epistemology, philosophy of science (esp. of climate sciences), aesthetics, semiotics, environmental philosophy, architectural theory.
